We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

- Join our well-established team of ten physicians and eight APPs at the University of New Mexico Hospital.
- Work alongside a unique group of clinicians with diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
- We work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a seamless transition of care.
Qualifications :
Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.Nurse practitioner board certification required (ACNP or FNP)Active NP license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.Advanced training and experience in Acute Care preferred but not required.Authorized to work in the United States.New NP graduates are encouraged to apply.Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling :
This position is for a nocturnist nurse practitioner who will work nights.We offer various flexible scheduling options to promote a healthy work-life balance.Key Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical and post-operative patient care.Utilize Cerner EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.Support the rapid response team and attend codes as a courtesy run by the ICU team.The hospital has a closed ICU, and our hospitalist team is not responsible for procedures.Living and Working in Albuquerque :
