Location: Galveston, TX
Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience)

About the company:
We are a leader in dredging and marine services. We are seeking a Contracts Manager to manage and negotiate contracts across our business, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and legal requirements.

Role Overview:
The Contracts Manager will handle customer contracts, subcontracts, master service agreements, and charter agreements. You will review, negotiate, and manage these contracts while mitigating risk and ensuring smooth execution across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire contracting process, from scope validation to final execution.
• Negotiate and redline contract terms, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.
• Draft and manage subcontract and third-party agreements.
• Resolve contract-related disputes and strategize change orders with project teams.
• Collaborate with Risk Management to align insurance requirements.
• Analyze contract terms and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for contracts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the construction or maritime industry.
• 5 years of experience in contract negotiation (preferred).
• Strong financial and analytical understanding.
