Job Overview
The Technical Analyst works with the Director of Technical Support to advance sales orders that are stopped in the transaction process due to sourcing, repair, or other issues. This position requires a solid understanding of sourcing options, engineering support, and the ability to coordinate resources. The Technical Analyst collaborates with Sales, Operations, and external engineering resources to ensure that Customer requirements are met and that all sales orders are processed in a timely manner
Duties
- Engage the Product Manager in transactions that have an open sales order without an assigned Vendor PO or selected part from stock.
- Coordinate resources and/or execute steps necessary to ensure part sourcing is timely.
- Assist Product Managers by running traps on where to find AR parts.
- Coordinate with engineering to determine alternates, effectivity, and repair options.
- Assist with sourcing ‘customer-supplied parts’ for repair.
- Track aircraft teardowns and MSNs in support of quoting and sourcing options.
- Other additional duties as assigned.
Experience
- 2 years of aviation experience is preferred
- High School Diploma required, college courses in aviation or engineering
- Proven experience in a technical analyst role or a similar aviation position is beneficial.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be well organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, and possess confidence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Model a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong business acumen and decision-making.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
