Key Responsibilities
The Credit and Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and understanding wholesaler acquisition costs (WAC) to ensure our pricing strategies are competitive and compliant with government policies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the credit and reimbursement strategies support our upcoming product launches
- Working closely with government agencies to facilitate the clearance of credits and reimbursement claims, maintaining effective communication and relationships
- Staying updated on changes in regulations and government policies that impact reimbursement processes and communicating these to relevant stakeholders
- Supporting the development of training materials and educating internal teams on best practices related to credits and reimbursements
This role also involves contributing to strategic planning for product launches with a focus on reimbursement and pricing strategies. Familiarity with government-funded programs and their reimbursement processes is essential. Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions to streamline reimbursement processes is also required. Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry trends and challenges is necessary.
