Are you smart-working, motivated, and energetic? Is your passion for civil engineering contagious? If this describes you, we are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Civil Engineer where you will be an asset for our clients in our Water Market.
What You Will Be Doing :
You are a Licensed Civil Engineer with 10 or more years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. You will be involved in projects that include site layout design, surface modeling, grading and drainage, earthwork calculations, roadway and parking design, utility design, embankment and channel design and modeling, and development of hydrologic and hydraulic models.
Our projects offer the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of challenges. Some field work and travel may be required. Mentoring a young team of engineers and staff, project management experience, and the ability to work directly with clients is desirable.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration, or ability to obtain in 1 year.
- Wide knowledge of civil engineering including site, grading and earthwork, surface water management and stormwater detention, and infrastructure and utility design.
- Working knowledge and experience with Microstation and Open Roads and / or AutoCAD and Civil 3D products.
- Knowledge of a variety of software applications including hydrology and hydraulics modeling programs, Excel, Word and GIS applications.
- Strong oral and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple disciplines.
- Experience in permitting and compliance with Federal, State and local government policy and procedure.
Stanley's Approach to Flexibility :
While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9 / 80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
