We are seeking a skilled KDB /Time Series Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team in either Boston or New York. This role is focused on developing, maintaining, and optimizing time-series data platforms to support high-performance data analysis for financial and technical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain KDB solutions for time-series data analysis.
- Work on real-time data processing and analytics for large-scale, high-frequency data systems.
- Develop and optimize queries, scripts, and processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in KDB environments.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on time-series data analysis.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with KDB /Q programming and time-series databases.
- Proven track record of building and managing scalable, high-performance data systems.
- Strong understanding of real-time data processing and analytics workflows.
- Experience in financial services, trading, or other industries with large-scale data is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies for data visualization and reporting.
