The Retail Marketing & Creative Services team works across all imprints and titles. The team focuses on marketing to Independent booksellers and librarians through a variety of services such as trade advertising, trade shows, festivals, author events, preorder campaigns, mailings, and more.
Summer Retail Marketing Internship Responsibilities :
- Assist with coming up with ideas for advanced copy mailings and send out mailings
- Send out mailings to key booksellers and librarians
- Receive training in Canva and work on graphics for newsletters
- Write copy for newsletters, ads, and other marketing materials
- Create submission letters for opportunities for author
- Account information data entry
Internship Program Details :
Sourcebooks offers a 10- week PAID, IN-PERSON internship at our Naperville, IL office in our (Retail Marketing Department). Interns will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience at a growing book publisher. You will learn how to use different communications styles and strategies to share information with different audiences both within and outside the company. A key component of this internship is storytelling : we’re communicating the Sourcebooks story, and our Books Change Lives mission, every day. You’ll learn how to refine a message, speak to values, engage an audience, and more!
