What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at SourceFactor?
SourceFactor's client is an established professional services firm based in Arlington. We're helping them find a Staff Accountant who will be part of the Finance and Accounting team working on-site in Arlington.
The ideal candidate will supports various areas including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reporting, reconciliations, and monthly close.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the department heads and client stakeholders to understand and ensure accuracy of invoicing and transactions between both clients and vendors
- Responsible for reconciliation and analysis to identify and surface any areas of risk within accounts
- Support reporting and monthly close processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 1 - 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting concepts and experience using an accounting system
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn on the job
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
