What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Benefits Assistant Account Manager position at SourceOne Insurance?
Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Manager with preparation of group health and ancillary benefit product quotes, including but not limited to data entry of quoting systems, spreadsheet data entry, and creating and/or editing presentations.
- Assist with open enrollment process, this will include document preparation and setting up data in the online enrollment program EnrollEase.
- As necessary, may assist Account Manager with open enrollment meetings off site.
- Manage new hire enrollments for existing clients.
- Process employee terminations for clients as needed.
- Provide customer support for claims, billing, or coverage questions as needed.
- Maintain all client information within the agency management system.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a Life/Health insurance license.
- Proven experience in employee benefits account management or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage client relationships
- Excellent technical sales skills, including the ability to analyze client data and recommend appropriate solutions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential and/or protected health information.
- PC skills, including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Detailed Oriented
