Position Summary:
- Coordinating new hire safety orientations and ordering uniforms for new hires
- Coordinating health and safety programs and maintaining safety data sheets ( SDS ).
- Reporting worker’s compensation claims to insurance company including investigating accidents and preparing accident reports, monitoring claims.
- Scheduling annual hearing and blood lead testing. Maintaining First Aid Kits and AED including coordinating with vendors.
- Assisting with a variety of additional HR duties including attendance tracking, maintaining shop floor job descriptions, I9 verifications, sending birthday announcements
Experience Requirements:
- 3 years related experience as a Safety Coordinator in manufacturing
Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility
Salary : $54,000 - $60,000
