Senior Director, Sourcing & Category Management | Corporate & Professional Services
ROLE DESCRIPTION : Servant leader responsible for owning and leading the development, ongoing maintenance and execution of strategies with the Corporate and Professional Services categories, which include, but is not limited to, Total Rewards, HR, Travel, Commercial Card, Meetings & Events, Marketing, Finance, Corporate Communications, Training, Consulting, Temp Labor, etc. This role works closely with senior leaders across the company to execute against deliverables, while providing oversight to category leads within the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with team and functional business owners to support best practices that support the McKesson Playbook
- Enable and drive a growth mindset and behaviors that deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Responsible to understand sourcing maturity, identify gaps and partner with business segment leaders on opportunities to drive efficiencies and / or savings
- Servant leader responsible for leading, developing and performance managing teams (managers of managers) to create highly performing teams
- Drive accountability within team on forecasting, compliance and executing on category strategies
- Actively set, lead and drive the team, timeline and prioritization of all goals and priorities
- Drive collaboration between S&P teams and Business Segments
- Support supplier negotiations and any internal escalations where applicable
- Educate, support, drive compliance for S&P policies
- Create and maintain relationships that enable the team to be viewed across business segments as a critical value driver for McKesson
