Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our Vendor Relations team at Sourgum Waste. As a key player in our mission to revolutionize the waste and recycling industry, you will be responsible for onboarding new hauler partners onto our haulsourcing platform, ensuring they meet Sourgum Waste's operational standards, and facilitating a seamless integration into our system. This role is crucial in ensuring our network of 5,000 trusted vendors continues to grow and deliver top-tier, sustainable waste management solutions to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hauler partners, including account setup, compliance verification, and operational alignment. This will include cold outreach to vendors and warm introductions from Territory Managers
  • Training & Support: Educate haulers on Sourgum Waste's platform the Sourgum Partner Portal (SPP), order management processes, and service level expectations
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all haulers meet regulatory and company-specific compliance requirements, including insurance, permits, and service agreements. Maintain vendor profiles with all required documentation, proper contacts, and up to date pricing and operating procedures
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for new haulers, addressing questions and ensuring a smooth transition into our network
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience and streamline workflows for efficiency
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the vendor relations, customer service, and operations teams to ensure hauler success and performance alignment


Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse network of hauler partners
  • Experience in third-party logistics, waste management, or service provider networks is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple onboarding projects in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with innovative technologies and contributing to industry transformation
