The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking a qualified individual to join our Fleet/Facilities department.
This Position Primarily Perform a Variety Of Skilled And Technical Tasks To Maintain, Service, Test, Diagnose, Inspect And Repair The District’s Fleet Of Automobiles, Light And Heavy Duty Trucks And Equipment Including
Hiring Salary Range:$25-$37/hr

This Position Primarily Perform a Variety Of Skilled And Technical Tasks To Maintain, Service, Test, Diagnose, Inspect And Repair The District’s Fleet Of Automobiles, Light And Heavy Duty Trucks And Equipment Including
- Perform regular routine service and maintenance including oil changes, flat repair; lights, and brakes
- Install accessories on vehicles
- Perform periodic DOT inspections on vehicles and equipment
- Troubleshoot problems, issues and complaints
- Maintain repair shop inventory
- Track and update vehicle/equipment maintenance schedules and repairs, work orders, and work records
- May assist with facilities maintenance as required
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience which may include supplemental specialized training in automotive/equipment repair
- Vocational training in auto and equipment repair
- ASE State Certification of 2 of the following: T4, T8, A5 or G1 or the ability to obtain within 24 months of accepting the position.
- Valid, current Colorado Commercial Driver’s License
- A minimum of 3 (three) years experience as a mechanic, fleet department or related position
- Proficiency with technology
- Strong problem solving, organizational and communication
- Self starter, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment necessary
