Are you a strategic Used Car Buyer with a proven track record of acquiring quality pre-owned inventory through online auctions? Do you know how to source the right vehicles, at the right price, and move quickly in a fast-paced digital buying environment? If so, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:
- Source, evaluate, and purchase used vehicles primarily through online auction platforms (e.g., ACV, SmartAuction, OVE, Manheim Express, etc.)
- Analyze inventory needs based on store demand, turn rates, and profitability goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auction reps and third-party platforms
- Stay up to date with market trends, pricing guides, and regional demand patterns
- Collaborate with General Managers and Used Car Managers to ensure strategic alignment
- Monitor vehicle condition reports, transport coordination, and post-purchase inspections

Requirements:What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of used car buying experience, with an emphasis on online auction purchases
- Sharp decision-making and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of inventory turn, recon, and retail profitability
- Familiarity with inventory management tools and VAuto or similar systems
- A self-starter with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
