What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Coach/ Group Facilitator position at South Branch Valley Day Report Center?
Position Summary:
- One on one Recovery Coaching in person and in a virtual setting.
- Facilitating regularly scheduled groups and classes.
- Engaging with participants to maintain sobriety and encourage participation in recovery-oriented activities.
- Assist participants in developing support networks.
- Assist participants in identifying and accessing needed resources and recovery supports.
- Communication with and maintenance of working relationship with the local justice system as well as other referral sources.
- Conducting drug screening of participants as needed.
- Organize meeting groups.
- Be available to participants.
Responsibilities:
- Keep accurate client notes and update notes daily.
- Facilitation of Classes/Groups
- Drug Screening of Clients via all modes used by the Day Report Center
- Writing court reports when necessary
- Assisting Case Manager and Telehealth Coordinator as needed
- Individual meetings with Participants for coaching sessions and resource coordination.
- Training participants in the proper use of Naloxone
- Utilizing trauma informed approaches with participants
- Transporting clients in DRC fleet vehicles when needed
- Other duties as assigned
