Title: Central Office Secretary
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• High level of proficiency with technology, spreadsheets, various office equipment.
Reports to: Superintendent
Job Goal:
To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the central office, having a positive impact on student education, staff relations both internally and externally.
Performance Indicators:
1. Greet all visitors and field incoming phone calls to the central office.
2. Enroll new students.
3. Assist with state reporting as requested and needed, maintaining accurate attendance records.
4. Prepare documents, reports, etc., directed by the Superintendent, including state and federal reports.
5. Manage the free and reduced lunch program and required reporting.
6. Check state fuel mileage reimbursement and update district records quarterly as needed.
7. Sort incoming mail, meter outgoing mail.
8. Assist the Superintendent with mail and email correspondence as needed or requested.
9. Stay up-to-date on PowerSchool reports, assisting with state reporting when necessary.
10. Manage the board of education monthly meeting agenda, preparation packet, communications, and presenters, working with administrators as needed.
11. Obtain notary status.
12. Oversee the request process for all bids.
13. Assist with grants as needed or requested.
14. Perform other duties assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
