Minimum Requirements - A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience. Prefer a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minimum of five years’ experience managing and directing marketing campaigns/programs.

Responsibilities
- Effectively supervise and direct the marketing staff to proactively execute tasks and produce high quality deliverables in a timely manner that further the agency's mission, vision and goals to enhance economic development.
- Appropriately manage creative processes used by the marketing team to execute timebound requests and projects – ensuring creative planning doesn’t limit or impact project completion.
- Operate autonomously on some efforts or projects, as well as execute some efforts or projects with direction and deliverables determined by the director of marketing and communications or other executive leadership team members.
- Assist with the agency’s phase two paid media campaign for promoting the S.C. Commerce’s recently deployed Launch to Legacy campaign.
- Develop and deploy a yearly cohesive marketing strategy across agency divisions to effectively market global business development, the services after the sale Commerce provides companies and grant opportunities that help communities prepare for economic development.
- Oversee the agency’s website redesign effort ensuring vendor and staff project deliverables are reached by established deadlines.
- Develop and deploy a yearly content review of all marketing collateral process to ensure the use of current data and relevant design concepts.
- Oversee the development and deployment of a yearly website content review process that utilizes division-level assigned content contributors.
- Manage and ensure the maintenance of agency brand standards across all agency marketing efforts.
- Identify, implement, maintain and regularly report on appropriate metrics to measure the success of various marketing efforts.
- Provide oversight and guidance for the development and deployment of a plan to incorporate videos into the agencies marketing and communications efforts.
- Other duties as needed by the Director of Marketing and Communication and executive leadership.

- Manage all aspects related to the production and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Monitor campaign progress and evaluate return on investment.
- Conduct general market research of competitor states.
- Manage established marketing budgets with oversight from the director of marketing and communications.
- Write marketing copy and content that is on point with the agency’s brand.
- Oversee the division’s involvement with planning various events and trade shows.
