Who We are Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including real estate, litigation, small claims court, depositions, and mediation. This role requires exceptional legal research and writing skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and litigate effectively on behalf of clients. The Attorney will work collaboratively within a real estate development office environment to provide high-quality legal services and support to our clients.
Job Responsibilities Based on Your Experience:
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Represent clients in court proceedings and during negotiations with opposing parties.
Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to estate planning, immigration law, environmental law, personal injury law, and family law.
Prepare and file necessary legal documents with courts and government agencies.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive client service.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
Proven experience in one or more areas of practice such as real estate law, small claims court, mediation, and facilitation negotiation through dialogue to help resolve conflicts outside of the court system is preferred.
2+ years of experience in Litigation.
Strong skills in legal research, writing, negotiation, and litigation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
Additional Details:
The salary range is between $78,000 and $104,000.
Full Time Benefits: After completion of a 1 month probationary period, you will be eligible for full-time company benefits.
This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
This is an on-site role. We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities.
The ideal candidate must be available to start within one to two weeks of acceptance date.
