This position is located in the Driver Services/Ticket Unit - Headquarters, Blythewood, SC.
- There will be two positions filled with this posting******
- Enter miscellaneous and not guilty ticket numbers into ticket inventory module.
- Using the out of state database, print and mail out violations that have been issued from various courts in South Carolina.
- Verify tickets are complete from scanning department and can be located in Docs Viewer.
- Return incorrect and incomplete tickets, indictments or arrest warrants to the court or officers for completion.
- Performs other related job duties as required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior approval.
- Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include finger printing.
- Ability to learn and explain policy and procedures to DMV customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Works under general supervision after a period of training.
- Works in general office environment.
- May be required to work extended hours outside of the normal scheduled work week.
- Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs.
- The work requires sitting for prolonged periods of time and significant time spent at a computer terminal.
Agency Preferred
- A high school diploma and two (2) years related job experience.
