Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, generates shopping carts, purchase orders, and receipts for payment in SCEIS. Answers phones and directs service problems to the correct team through work orders or radio transmission. Coordinates all incoming mail to include independently reviewing, distributing, and sorting as necessary in order of urgency. Responsible for processing payments to vendors. Under general supervision, generates letters and memos on OSHA Class III Asbestos Worker and updates as required. Faxes weekly timesheet for temporary workers. Orders supplies for night shift contractors. Maintains files and correspondence for Building Services Security Log, personnel work orders, and parking security. Under the general supervisor's direction, purchases supplies from Supply Depot and other vendors as needed. Meets with vendor representatives in the absence of the Facilities Maintenance Manager. At direction of the supervisor, schedules meetings, meeting rooms and notifies people of time and place. Attends briefings/meetings for supervisor as authorized or delegated. Maintains Safety Data Sheets for the Globally Harmonized System of classification and labeling of chemicals used in Building Services. Acts as time administrator and payroll transmission for staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and six (6) months of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
