This posting will be used to fill multiple summer internship positions in the Department of Transportation District Two offices located in Abbeville, Anderson, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda. Assists in engineering activities in the Maintenance and/or Construction Engineering fields. Responsibilities include assisting with:
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma; and or an approved acceptable equivalence. Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a two-year college or university program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management.

- Assists in the use of survey equipment for construction and/or maintenance activities.
- Assists inspectors performing field tests on earthwork and concrete materials.
- Assists in completing daily work reports and other required documentation for construction and/or maintenance activities.
