Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, assists with the environmental review and design of alternative delivery and other innovative delivery projects through the National Environmental Policy Act. Ensures environmental documents are completed and approved on schedule. As required, will be responsible for writing/preparing Programmatic and Non-programmatic Categorical Exclusions.
Assists with the preparation, review, and submittal of Section 404 permits for alternative delivery projects. Ensures permits are approved and acquired to meet project schedules. As directed, assists in the development of contract documents (RFQs, RFPs, exhibits, fee estimates, and scopes) for alternative delivery projects.
Assists in public Involvement activities including website preparation, preparing and reviewing public involvement plans, attending public information meetings, and public hearings as necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
