Description of Duties and Responsibilities
The ability to teach undergraduate courses for our Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology program at South Carolina State University. In addition, the candidate is also expected to advise and recruit students, develop program, learning outcomes assessment, conduct scholarly research, and participate in committee assignments.
Bachelor and Masters degrees in Industrial Technology and a Doctorate degree in related field are required. Masters degree with considerable teaching and practical experiences in related field will be considered. The candidate must have a knowledge base within several of the following areas : Manufacturing and Construction Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Communication Technology, Power and Energy Technology and Transportation Technology. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student recruitment, scholarly research activity, and possess excellent communication skills, and personal concern for the student.
Should be able to teach laboratories in the following areas such as Electricity and Electronics, Construction, Power Mechanics, Transportation and CADD.
