The Physical Therapy Program at the University of South Carolina(USC) is inviting applications for a clinical faculty position (non-tenure track) with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025 at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor.
The successful candidate will teach courses in area of specialization, advise Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, supervise DPT student projects, participate in service to the program and community, and engage in scholarship. Applicants wishing to be considered for the rank of Clinical Associate Professor must have a strong record of teaching and scholarship, with at least 5 years of experience as an effective instructor, student mentor, and researcher in addition to the requirements of Clinical Assistant Professor Rank by the beginning date of employment. The position is a 12-month position with rank and salary commensurate with experience and expertise.
The USC DPT program is a fully accredited entry-level program that is housed within the nationally recognized Department of Exercise Science in the Arnold School of Public Health. The small class size of 30 DPT students allows clinical faculty to creatively use a wide variety of learning approaches while also allowing substantial time for scholarly activity.
