South Central Bank, Inc., is seeking a qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Service Certified Banker in their Monroe Market/Scottsville Location. The Service Certified Banker III (S.C.B. Level 3) is responsible for performing a variety of functions in a timely manner related to all phases of customer service, teller servicing, and new accounts. Routinely handles customer questions, inquiries, or problems regarding products, services, or accounts. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers and be able to travel to all locations within the marker. Previous customer service and/or cashing handling and teller experience is required.

- Use of EZ Teller efficiently to include balancing of teller cash drawer
- Use of Navigator efficiently and effectively; to include maintenance of accounts
- Process holds and stop payments
- Process cash advances
- Process loan payments
- Process wire requests
- Process night drop and log properly
- Issue cashier’s checks and log properly
- Accept and process check orders
- Knowledge of savings bond redemption
- Knowledge of safe deposit box procedures; to include access
- Ability to process branch capture and balancing
- Ability to complete documentation as related to BSA requirements
- Responsible for reviewing new account openings for exceptions and clearing exceptions in a timely manner
- Ability to balance ATM
- Oversee vault responsibilities and balancing
- Observe cash limits
- Manage shipping/ordering and processing of currency, including foreign currency
- Displays proper phone etiquette
- Ability to open and close all deposit account types, safe deposit boxes, Estates, Trusts, Rep Payee and Guardianship, IOLTAs, Campaign, and 1031 Exchange accounts for both commercial and consumer customers
- Ability to open and close Health Savings Accounts
