What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Technician position at South Coast Transit Management?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of building equipment.
- Repair maintenance requests and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Five or more years working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, logic controllers, and high voltage equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
