Position Title: Field Transportation Aide
Locations: Watertown
Minimum Salary: $17.78 per hour
Closing Date: March 31, 2025
The normal summer season is approximately May through September. Opportunities may exist to begin earlier and work later. Most positions involve outdoor work and strenuous physical labor. Seasonal employees are paid only for hours worked.
Duties:
Perform skilled activities on specialty crew, survey crew, maintenance crew, or construction crew. Work depends on crew assignment but may include: project inspection activities, testing, setting stakes, running level and transit on survey crew, weighing and checking materials, flagging, repairing fences and signs, striping highways, repairing bridges and concrete, Right-of-Way clean-up, hand or machine mowing, driving truck, asphalt patching, sealing, weed spraying, painting, general clean up, transporting, loading and unloading materials.
Requirements:
Must be age 18. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, perform occasional heavy lifting, and operate hand tools. Travel required for some positions.
