POSITION SUMMARY Develops and administers a functional Human Resources department plan for the organization including recruitment and retention, wage and salary administration, benefits, plans, counseling and discipline, records maintenance, employee relations, and management training plans. Oversees the Employee Health Department for all services to include any services that may be deemed as outpatient services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES BS degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred, 5-7 years’ experience in human resources, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and problem solving skills, understanding of healthcare systems and organizational relationships, ability to maintain objectivity, working knowledge of applicable federal laws, ability to develop contemporary benefits plans, strong assessment skills, ability to mediate and facilitate, knowledge of and ability to work under continuous quality improvement principles and knowledge of accreditation standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Work largely sedentary but with a high level of stress. Ability to listen and respond quickly in potentially adverse situations. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally.
