Schedule: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible of ordering supplies. Reconciliates charges daily. Monitors resource utilization. Demonstrate proficiency in product evaluation, computer skills and organizational skills for rehabilitation supply items. Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement and problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Maintains atmosphere, which ensures South Georgia Medical Center’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct, goals, policies and standards are consistently supported and enforced. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High School Graduate, some college preferred.
- Previous computer experience preferred
- One to two years related experience in materials management preferred.
- Ability to use Global computer system, Medilinks and UDS systems with strong computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to physicians, Rehab patients, families and staff.
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Flexible in work schedule, assignments and work load.
- Ability to work well individually and as a team member.
- Demonstrates ability to adapt to new situations, manage priorities and utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrates skill in verbal, non-verbal and behavioral communication.
- Ability to understand and follow the policies and procedures of South Georgia Medical Center and regulatory agencies’ standards and rules.
- CPR Certification required.
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Works primarily in hospital or clinical settings. Requires considerable standing, walking, bending, stooping, light lifting, not to exceed twenty-five (25) pounds. Comfortable setting indoors. May be subject to high levels of stress. Use of computer, copier, scanner and other communication devices. Requires considerable mental effort and logical though processing.
