What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Unit Coordinator position at South Hampton Nursing and Rehab?
The RN Unit Coordinator is a management position responsible for the coordination of care services on the long-term care unit, providing supervision to the charge nurses, medication techs, and nursing assistants.
Unit coordinators may arrange patient admission to and discharge from the facility. They might also organize patient transfers between units or schedule appointments. Unit coordinators work with providers, communicate with families, and collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary team to ensure our residents receive the highest quality care.
