Position Overview
This position will have responsibility and oversight of the administrative and marketing initiatives for South Hills. This person possesses a blend of administrative acumen along with marketing expertise and can drive strategic marketing campaigns while efficiently managing day-to-day administrative tasks. They support the Clubhouse Manager and Controller in administrative duties.
Responsibilities
The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to
Administrative Tasks
- Onboarding and offboarding employees
- Tip Splits and gratuity division management
- Monitoring clock in entries
- Acts as key point of contact for software support: troubleshooting, module changes, issues, questions
- Controls point of sale buttons, edits, and changes
- Creates point of sale menus and modifiers
- Cleans up inactive point of sale buttons regularly
- Activates and sets up new memberships following a provided SOP
- Inactivates resigning memberships following a provided SOP
- Creates annual renewal documents
- Works to identify office waste reduction, updates SOP's, creates and simplifies SOPS to streamline business workloads
- Maintains office space and needs including ordering supplies, reducing storage, organizing office
Marketing Tasks
- Manages and executes member communications including club updates, daily specials, hours adjustments, club news, and other information
- Designs and processes monthly newsletters and weekly staff newsletters
- Coordinates radio advertisements
- Markets Dock Spiders closest to the pin agremeent
- Markets new membership promotions
- Updates mobile app content for member events and news
- Content Creation and Management: creates and distributes marketing collateral including advertisements, social media posts, post cards, website content, and evet flyers to align with brand messaging
- Designs and develops annual fiscal year close up communications
- Creates monthly calendar of events, updates website calendar
- Creates food and beverage menus
- Uses creativity to look for other ways to market the club through emails, app posts, social media posting, and other platforms
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies
Ability to design and execute marketing collateral
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Ability to handle changing priorities
Strong ability to anticipate future needs, plan head, and practice foresight
High level of organization and time management skills
Strong analytical, interpersonal, written communication and problem-solving skills
Multi-tasker who has the proven ability to lead as well as be hands-on in a fast-paced small organization
Comfortable with all aspects of human resource compliance
Must have a high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate on experience
Job Type: Full-time, open to 4 or 5 day work weeks (32 or 40 hours)
