Our client, Progress Learning (https://progresslearning.com/), is expanding its sales team and searching for motivated, personable candidates with a high level of ambition.
Seeking an Account Executive with a solid background in SAAS Sales and a dynamic skill set for developing New Sales.
As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how our platform solutions can benefit their institutions. This position will generate and close new business. This is done by heavy phone and email prospecting. Being able to conduct a good demo, and then establish good follow-up steps.
Duties:
● Achieve sales targets by closing deals with new customers.
● Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, emailing, and other prospecting activities.
● Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders in K-12 Schools to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
● Present and demonstrate our product to potential customers through virtual meetings and demo presentations.
● Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
● Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and revenue targets.
● Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce
● Build and research contact lists for your territory
● Develop and execute a thorough territory plan
● Provide detailed engaging online demonstrations
● Represent Progress Learning at various in-person events and meetings
● Maintain detailed pipeline
● Provide regular updates to management on sales progress
● Contribute to and execute the overall company strategy
● Various other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
● Proven inside sales or telesales experience, preferably in the education technology industry.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with customers.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
● Results-driven and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
● A passion for education and a genuine interest in improving the learning experience for students and educators.
● Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.
● Ability to conduct an engaging and effective demonstration
● Must be able to close deals and maintain at least a 20% close rate
This position is $50,000 base plus commission. OTE is $85,000
