Summary :
Assist the CTE Director in the development and the implementation of an Expeditionary Learning program (EL). They will facilitate project-based learning experiences, coordinating cross-disciplinary units, managing student expeditions, and fostering strong partnerships with the community to enrich student learning through real-world, inquiry-based experiences, all while aligning with the EL philosophy and pedagogical practices.

Assist the CTE Director in the coordination of :
- Support the development, implementation, and guidance of the Expeditionary Learning program team.
- Provide coaching and leadership to EL program stakeholders and staff.
- Designing and implementing engaging, inquiry-based Expeditionary Learning units across subject areas, ensuring alignment with state standards, EL and CTE framework.
- Defining the "big questions" and guiding questions to drive student exploration and critical thinking within each expedition.
- Developing authentic assessments to measure student learning progress on expeditions.
- Building relationships with local organizations and businesses to provide relevant learning experiences for students. Organizing and leading student-led expeditions, including field trips, community projects, and research-based investigations. Coordinating logistics for expeditions, such as transportation, permits, guest speakers, and safety protocols.Facilitating professional development opportunities related to project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, and community engagement.
- Providing ongoing support and training to teachers on implementing EL practices in their classrooms.
- Leading collaborative planning sessions to ensure alignment across disciplines and expeditions.
- Coordinating family engagement activities to support student learning and expedition participation.
- Monitoring student progress on expeditions through formative and summative assessments.
- Support, facilitate and evaluate the development and implementation of Expeditionary Learning Program, systems, data collection, evaluation, screening, and practices with all school sites. Analyzing data to identify areas of strength and improvement in the EL program.
- Communicating student learning outcomes to stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and community partners.
