Full Time Police Officer

The South Londonderry Township Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. Applications may be downloaded from our website, www.sltpolice.org or the Township website, www.southlondonderry.org, or may be picked up in person at the Township Building, 27 West Market St., Palmyra, PA. Upon review of all qualified applicants, a select number of applicants will be notified of a specific date and time to participate in an oral interview process.

The successful applicant must meet the minimum requirements:

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED

• Have successfully completed a PA Municipal Police Academy (Act 120 training)

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Be a United States Citizen

• Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

• Be able to perform all of the duties of a Police Officer

The minimum application requirements will include, but not be limited to:

• Oral Examination(s)

• Extensive Background Investigation to include credit history

• Medical Exam and Drug Screening

• Psychological Testing

• Polygraph Examination
