What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director, Residential Recovery position at South Middlesex Opportunity Council?
Job Summary
The Clinical Director, Residential Recovery will provide training, supervision and support to Case Managers. They will also supervise all staff in conjunction with the Program Director.
The Clinical Director will communicate with collateral providers to ensure coordination of care. This includes working with DCF, Probation, Parole and Methadone clinic representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop staff through timely mentoring, training and performance management.
- Complete required paperwork according to company policy.
- Participate in engagement team meetings as requested.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff from other areas.
- Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements as well as SMOC policies & procedures.
- Be responsible for disability access.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or Human Services is required.
- Excellent organizational, training and time management skills are necessary.
- A working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required.
- The ability to drive a 15-passenger van is necessary.
