Position Summary:
The Produce Buyer/Salesperson oversees the performance of managed accounts and ensuring the achievement of committed sales goals. This role includes participating in the planning and execution of sales programs and promotions, suggesting market pricing, and expanding market presence in the Eastern USA. Additionally, the Sales Manager will develop new business opportunities with retailers and larger distributors, ensure accurate order bookings, and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. By providing market intelligence, this position plays a crucial role in the company’s growth and operational success.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree- 5 years of previous customer service experience required.
- Food customer service/distribution experience required.
- Previous sales experience required.
- working knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
