South Mountain Memory Care, a 28-bed memory care senior living facility, located in Emmaus, PA is looking for a part-time housekeeper. Approx. 25-27 hours/week. Must be available every other holiday/ every other weekend.
Job Title: Housekeeper
Reports To: Executive Director
Supervises: None
Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and exterior property at the direction of the Executive Director. Housekeeper must keep a regular schedule as established by the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of our residents.
- Remove dirty linens and replace with clean
- Wash dirty linens
- Clean resident room per company standards and state expectations
- Keep resident common areas clean and free of debris at all times
- Have working knowledge of community chemicals to ensure safe and proper use.
- Be a good steward of company property by ensuring all materials are used completely.
- Ensure paper products are always well stocked.
- Ability to handle multiple projects

Education and/or Experience:
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
- Competent in time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain multiple projects.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, squat, reach, climb.
- Must be able to lift/carry maximum of 40-70 lbs.
