Position Summary
Summary: The Dietary Aide Supervisor provides oversight at the direction of management to coordinate routine work activities of workers and/or services. He/she will provide support to the management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business. The Dietary Aide Supervisor may assist placing food on patient trays while reviewing daily production sheets and transports food carts to patient floors while maintaining all food temperature controls. The Dietary Aide Supervisor also assists with patient needs whenever necessary and follows hospital standards for customer satisfaction. The food service and clinical programs provide services based on department standards for meal delivery, nutritional assessment and patient education. He/she will be responsible for closing the kitchen, cafeteria & coffee shop on weekends and/or as needed/assigned.
