Position Summary

Summary: The Respiratory Care Assistant will assist in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented respiratory therapy. He/she will be under the supervision of a respiratory therapist or respiratory technician.

Qualifications

Responsibilities: Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High school Diploma or equivalent.

Experience And Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Speaks, reads and writes English

• Enrolled in Respiratory Care Program is preferred.

License/Certifications

Working Conditions

Other information: Working Conditions

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn

• May require prolonged periods of standing.

• Will require the lifting of heavy boxes and oxygen cylinders.
