Job Description:

Assist with equipment preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements:
- Kitchen
- HVAC
- Laundry
- Grounds maintenance equipment
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, basic mechanical
- Inspect equipment and systems for proper function and safety
- Run errands, handle incoming and outgoing freight, lift/move heavy furniture and equipment
- Possess excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents and other staff members
- Rotating on call weekends
Requirements:
- Six months prior commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
- Reliable, regular attendance
- Use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, safety, and sanitation
