Summary
We are seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations at South Platte Health & Rehabilitation Center. This leadership role is essential in ensuring our facility remains in optimal condition, supporting our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program using CMMS to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate HVAC systems maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate and repair equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Manage facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Review schematics and blueprints for facility upgrades or modifications, ensuring proper execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and reporting.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and low voltage electrical systems is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to building systems and equipment.
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience leading a team of maintenance professionals.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
