Job Summary
The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a VERY fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the orthodontic office, facilitating communication between patients, orthodontic assistants, and the doctor while maintaining accurate records.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar efficiently to optimize patient flow.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services and procedures.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize dental software.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Work closely with other dental offices.
Skills
- Experience in customer service and/or reception.
- Basic computer skills with an ability to learn the orthodontic software.
- Accuracy entering multiple types of information.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Reliability is a must!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
