The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance of all corporate owned and leased facilities by performing the following duties personally, or through delegating to subordinate employees. Familiar with all aspects of commercial building operations including but not limited to; H.V.A.C mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc. and ensure all equipment and systems are operated in a safe and efficient manner and are in compliance with all applicable government codes and regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Completes all internal Company training as assigned and required.
- Adheres to the Company’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
- Exhibits the ability and desire to embrace and enhance the Company culture.
- Responsible for the full range of rough and finish skilled carpentry work, including ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings and instructions to design, cabinetry. Construct remodels, retrofits and repairs interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall & tape, plaster, steel, concrete or brick including metal fabrication. Systems furniture design and installation hung ceiling layout and installation, interior partitioning frame to finish, flooring VCT tile, carpet tile subfloor and cove base installation.
- Responsible for ensuring direct report complete OSHA safety training and comply with OSHA standards.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses, installing new or repair old sump pumps and drain lines, repack or replace faucet, silcock and water feed lines.
- Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures, buildings and equipment (e.g. walls, floors, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.).
- Performs or supervises construction/installation of repairs needed for internal and external maintenance.
- Oversees the duties of the Facilities Technicians for the entire retail network.
- Suggests procedures to improve the efficiency of operating systems for the department.
- Creates a team environment and escalates internal employee relations issues to the Facilities Operations Manager.
- Completes all emergency backup lighting systems and generator systems at recommended intervals for proper operation in order to meet legislative requirements and ensure employee and customer safety.
- Landscaping and grounds keeping, operate vehicles, Bobcat, mowers, weed whackers, blowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers and pruning saws. Providing proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and other grounds.
- Inspects completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspects related work by contractors; estimate cost, time and materials for carpentry projects.
- Manages secondary subcontractors – trades. (ie: Electrical / Plumbing / HVAC) and coordinates activities to meet project schedule.
- Job close out.
- Oversees internal and external projects and ensure projects are completed satisfactorily.
- Maintains appropriate service and repair records and Purchase Orders.
- Researches, purchases and inventories equipment, parts and supplies, as needed.
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs, service, and janitorial needs.
- Responds to after-hour calls and emergencies.
- Janitorial responsibilities would include Sweeping, moping, emptying trash cans, window cleaning, spot cleaning carpets, cleaning and maintaining exterior drive thru equipment.
- Keeping cleaning supplies and janitorial supplies stocked for cleaning Co.
- Refuel and maintain corporate vehicles
- Recruitment as necessary
- Participates in a wide variety of seasonal and special event preparation including setting up training rooms, boardrooms, after hour meetings and early morning food pickups.
- Cleaning up after such events and returning rooms to previous furniture setups.
- Provide assistance to property landlords or tenants in building operation responsibilities.

- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.
