Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer to develop and implement programs to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to gather employee input and identify areas for improvement.
- Review results of employee engagement survey; contribute to discussions to improve workplace.
- Collaborate with Chief Human Resources Officer on the design and execute recognition programs and team-building activities.
- Track and analyze employee relations trends, engagement metrics, and performance review data to identify patterns and recommend solutions.
- Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies to cultivate an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
- Be an active member of the DEI Council.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, support, and resolution in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide counseling, support and advice to managers for appropriate resolution of employee relation issues (discipline, conflict resolution, terminations, etc.) and enhance employee engagement.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns and complaints, ensuring fairness, consistency, and adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Provide coaching and counsel to managers on handling employee performance, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Assist the CHRO with the annual performance review process, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage the new hire review process, including sending reviews to managers, track for completion and provide Final Approval for HR.
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on setting measurable goals, delivering constructive feedback, and developing employee growth plans.
- Monitor the completion of performance reviews and provide training or tools to support effective evaluation practices.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend strategies to enhance productivity and engagement.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation.
- Administer exit interviews.
- Ensure consistent application and communication of Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on employee relations, engagement, and performance review outcomes.
- Adhere to the Bank’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
- Complete all internal Bank training as assigned and required.

- Develop and maintain relationships with all employees; act as a resource and employee advocate; facilitate strong communication between employees and management.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of HR Management experience with a focus on employee relations, engagement, and performance management.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with a focus on employee-centered solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing performance review processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office 365, required.
- Basic knowledge of the banking and financial services industry including federal laws and regulations a plus
- Willingness to gain new knowledge and technical skills.
- Intermediate math skills: the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.
