What are the responsibilities and job description for the HBCI Crisis Worker position at South Shore Guidance Center?
The Home Base Crisis Intervention Program at South Shore Child Guidance is looking for a full-time caseworker to service children, adolescents and families in Nassau County. This position is 35 hours/week, with a flexible schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Field/Home Visits
- Provide crisis counseling to a child at risk of psychiatric hospitalization and his/her and families.
- Obtain intake information and relate it to the present behavioral and emotional issues of the child.
- Prepare Crisis Safety Plans, Action Plan, and maintain appropriate documentation in charts.
- Coordinate services with current treatment providers, school staff, etc. when applicable.
- Provide referrals to ongoing treatment and supports services.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
- Bachelor and/or Master's Degree Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
