Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist housekeeping staff with deep cleaning tasks, such as moving furniture and heavy items.
- Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Deliver and replenish amenities (towels, pillows, linens, toiletries) to guest rooms as requested
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for deep cleaning and industrial cleaning tasks when necessary.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff, embodying the principles of hospitality.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of recyclables from guest rooms and public areas.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- This role requires a frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hotel-related experience desired.
- Ability to work independently.
