Responsibilities:
Main Tasks:
- Collect patient specimens via venipuncture, fingerstick, and heelstick procedures
- Accurately identify patient information and label specimen tubes
- Prioritize urgent samples and ensure timely transportation to the laboratory
- Process specimens according to established protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a life science or related field preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in phlebotomy or a related field
- Certification as a phlebotomist or eligibility for certification with the National Phlebotomy Association
