As we continue to expand, our Boys CEO and Boys Technical Director are looking to add a competent, reliable and skillful Boys Director to our team to help lead our program into its next phase of growth and success! With many exciting things happening, you won't want to miss out on this opportunity.
Position Summary:
The Boys Director will help oversee all aspects of our boys’ soccer program, focusing on player development, coaching education, and strategic growth. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with a legitimate program that is setting new benchmarks for excellence in youth soccer. The professional growth opportunities are endless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive technical and tactical curriculum tailored to players at all levels.
- Coaching Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate coaching staff to ensure alignment with South Shore Select’s commitment to excellence.
- Player Development: Oversee individualized development plans for players, emphasizing skill growth, tactical understanding, and character building.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with players, parents, schools, and community partners to promote the program and its values.
- Event Management: Organize camps, clinics, and tournaments to provide exposure and development opportunities for players.
- Growth Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for program expansion and increased participation in the boys’ program.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a technical director, head coach, or similar leadership role in soccer.
- USSF License preferred (or equivalent); advanced certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of players, coaches, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field (preferred).
