SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
To follow the policies and procedures of South State Bank exercising competency, courtesy, and concern for the development of the bank. Has responsibility to provide general maintenance to properties while following policies and procedures of South State Bank.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
It is the responsibility of the Facilities Maintenance Tech to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position.
Provides general maintenance, scheduled visits for all sites assigned to include changing light bulbs, hanging pictures, HVAC filters, minor building repairs, painting, etc. within assigned areas providing timely response to all calls, inquiries, service requests.
At times may determine when it is necessary to contact specialized repair companies to handle building repairs. (After hours availability for repairs/emergencies)
Adhere to established procedures related to the security of trash and document disposal.
Works with Managers and Employees on projects related to property maintenance as needed and directed. Will be working with vendors, bank staff, and management and will communicate effectively.
Order and restock all consumables and cleaning supplies as/when needed.
Assist with Capital Budget process and Business Continuity as needed.
Will be tasked with moving, dispatching, relocation and inventory of furniture, boxes, and general items on a daily basis, adhere to and follows clean file transport procedures.
Required to be on-call and to respond to emergencies as they arise at Banking/Support Facilities.
Ensure the proper care and maintenance of bank owned equipment/vehicles/machinery, etc.
Position will work from ladders and have to service equipment in a safe manner while working in an elevated position.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
Education : High School Diploma
Experience : Previous Experience in Maintenance strongly preferred
Certifications/Specific Knowledge : Ability to read, write speak and understand English well. Must have electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance experience.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation. Word. Excel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds, ability to climb ladders to change light bulbs, paint, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be required to drive long distances daily and have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $40,388.77 - $64,517.54, actual offers to be determined based on applicant’s skills, experience and education.
