Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Submission and Approvals:
- Prepare and submit credit applications to lenders promptly and accurately to ensure quick turnaround times.
- Maintain consistency in meeting lender requirements while maximizing approval rates.
- Credit Review and Analysis:
- Review and assess credit applications, identifying the most suitable lenders based on customer profiles.
- Use industry knowledge to discern applicants’ approval potential across various financing institutions.
- Creative Problem-Solving:
- Develop innovative strategies to secure credit approvals for customers with diverse financial backgrounds.
- Collaborate with lenders to explore alternative financing options for customers when standard approval routes are unavailable.
- Sales Team Collaboration:
- Partner with the sales team to understand client needs and align financial solutions.
- Join the sales team in the field to build strong relationships with customers and foster trust in our dealership.
- Market and Relationship Building:
- Actively engage with lenders, brokers, and other financial partners to develop and sustain strategic partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to enhance business relationships.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist the Finance Manager with paperwork, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and communications with lenders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the heavy-duty truck or automotive industry, preferably in finance.
- Strong understanding of credit processes, lender criteria, and industry-specific financial practices.
- Demonstrated ability to creatively address credit challenges and secure approvals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for developing relationships with both customers and financial partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
